FAMILY VS NON-FAMILY: UN’ANALISI SULLE PERFORMANCE NEL WINE BUSINESS
Abstract
This work investigates the performance of Italian wine businesses and aims to verify the family effect on company performance through the variable “family power”, measured through the degree of family involvement in ownership and on Board. The study was conducted on 373 firms through a panel data regression model with time fixed effects. The research highlights a positive impact on company performance measured in terms of profitability and leverage.
